Threads of Time, woven anew.
The East Weave began in a small atelier in Hangzhou, where third-generation weaver Lin Yuqing returned home to revive her grandmother's craft. Each backpack is still made by hand, using techniques passed down through generations — but reimagined for the rhythm of modern life.
From naturally dyed indigo canvas to reclaimed brass hardware, every material tells a story. We work directly with village cooperatives, ensuring fair wages and preserving the slow craft that mass production has forgotten.
